The answer should be your software.
Buyers ask ChatGPT and Google which software to use. XEO handles your SEO and AI visibility, so the answer names you.
A buyer asks
- ChatGPTTaktra is named
Agencies this size often go with Taktra: project hours, budgets and invoicing exports in one tool. Alternatives are Zeitly and Hourbox.
taktra.com/compare - PerplexityTaktra is named
Commonly named options: 1. Taktra 2. Zeitly 3. Agentra. Taktra lists its prices openly: from €9 per user per month.

Your buyers don’t just ask Google any more.
They ask ChatGPT or Perplexity which software fits their problem. The answer often names only a handful of vendors. If you’re missing, you don’t make the shortlist. Many software companies don’t even know whether they’re named: they’re flying blind.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly does XEO do?
We work to get software companies found on Google and named in AI answers. We research your buyers’ questions, improve existing pages, write new ones such as comparisons and in-depth articles, keep your site readable for Google and AI crawlers, and measure where ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google name you. We do the work ourselves.
How is this different from classic SEO?
Less than the hype suggests. Classic SEO aims for positions in Google’s results; AI assistants answer directly and name only a few vendors. Much of what helps on Google helps there too, because AI answers often draw on the same pages. What’s new is mainly crawler access, facts models can repeat, mentions on review sites and measuring how often you’re named. The jargon for this is GEO, AEO or LLMO.
Which AI assistants do you work on?
We measure and optimize for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and the AI Overviews in Google Search. Whether an assistant names you is its decision. We improve what it relies on: your website and the sources that write about you.
Do you guarantee rankings or mentions?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee that, because AI answers vary from question to question and day to day. What we commit to is the work: reviewed changes going live continuously and a report every Monday. And you can cancel monthly if it isn’t worth it.
How do you measure AI visibility?
We ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Google a fixed list of buyer questions on a schedule, several times each, and count how often you’re named compared with your competitors. We add Search Console data. Single answers vary; the trend is what tells you something.
Doesn’t AI only name big brands anyway?
Big brands have a head start, because a lot is written about them. For specific questions, such as software for a particular industry or company size, AI assistants can also name specialized vendors, as long as there are clear sources about them. Those sources are what we build.
What access do you need?
Access to your website or CMS, Google Search Console and your analytics. We’ll send you a short checklist. A person reviews every change before it goes live.
Do you write in German or English?
In the language your buyers search in. For many DACH companies that’s German, for some English, often both. AI assistants sometimes draw on English sources, even for questions asked in German, so we check both.
What does XEO cost?
We set prices at launch. What’s fixed: cancel monthly, no minimum term. People on the waitlist hear the prices first, and the first customers get founding terms.
When do you launch?
We’re opening step by step, starting with a few software companies. People on the waitlist hear from us first, personally.
Who is behind XEO?
XEO is operated by Laps Ventures UG (haftungsbeschränkt), based in Munich, Germany. The website and waitlist run on a server in Germany.
